Don’t’ Forget BHC Can Help With Health Insurance

Many in our community have gone uninsured but they no longer need to and with new government regulations there are now penalties for not having insurance in 2016 (visit HealthCare.gov). Because of our mission, and because we are a healthcare leader in this community, we have chosen to assist community mem-bers and small businesses through the process by providing a healthcare Naviga-tor (trained person) to help you or your business understand coverage and marketplace options. HealthCare.gov defines the Navigator as:

Navigator
An individual or organization that's trained and able to help consumers, small businesses, and their employees as they look for health coverage options through the marketplace, including completing eligibility and enrollment forms. These individuals and organizations are required to be unbiased. Their services are FREE to consumers

The BHC Navigator is Danielle Harrell and she can be reached via e-mail or phone at 406-266-3186 Ext. 155 or dharrell@bhctownsend.com. She has gone through extensive training and federal and state testing to become certified to help our community members.

Although open enrollment for the marketplace ended January 31, 2016, you may qualify for a special enrollment period. Some special enrollment qualifying events include: Change of marital status, having a baby, adoption or new dependent, or losing healthcare coverage or employment. Medicaid or Healthy Montana Kids can be applied for anytime of the year and BHC can help you with those programs and forms as well.
