Did you know that the Broadwater Health Center (BHC) nursing home was awarded a 5-Star overall rating of its facility in 2015? Nursing Home Compare, associated with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded BHC the highest rating available to long term care facilities. Currently many of the larger cities in Montana don’t have a 5-Star rated nursing home.
Broadwater Health Center (BHC) is also a Veterans Admin-istration (VA) approved hospital. If you or your loved one is a veteran in need of nursing home services and/or medical care we are here to serve you. Barbara Kirscher passed away on May 25, 2016, and the Broadwater Com-munity Health Foundation (BCHF) established a “Barb Kirscher Memorial Education Fund” in her honor. A garage sale was held on August 19-20 to benefit the fund and $2,217.77 was raised in just two days. The majority of the funds were items sold at the sale but $202 was earned from items that were raffled.
Direct Access Testing (DAT) is a service offered by Broad-water Health Center (BHC). DAT allows you to order your own lab tests without a doctor’s order. It’s convenient, affordable and fits into busy lifestyles and schedules.
The Broadwater Community Health Foundation is a non-profit 501C(3) foundation, which began in 1989, with the purpose of supporting high quality local medical services for the citizens of the community and Broadwater County.
It is our mission to promote and further the operations of the Broadwater Health Center and support other county healthcare needs by providing high quality medical care and treatment. We accomplish this by encouraging community support and financial contributions to promote the good health of the community and Broadwater County.
