BHC Auxilliary - July 2018 Minutes
Submitted by Jeanne Randolph on Thu, 07/19/2018 - 08:34
The BHC Auxiliary meeting was called to order by President Donna Harper at 7:00 p.m. There were 14 persons in attendance (list attached). The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer reported that we have $11,759.85 in the bank. Treasurer's report was approved.
OLD BUSINESS: The Rodeo BBQ was discussed in detail. Nancy Marks and Jan Hubber have been busy getting businesses to sponsor the BBQ. Robert Peccia and Jacoby & Dee have donated; and Costco has agreed to supply the cookies. Nancy believes that Broadwater Ford and The Silos Bar & Restaurant will also sponsor.
The list of tasks was read and people volunteered to do the work. It was decided to ask Wheat Montana to donate 450 buns. Jenna Smith will order them and pick them up. Jeanne will order cookies and pick them up. Marcia will provide tubs for the water and soft drinks. Shienne will get a surge protector from the hospital, Nancy will provide electric cords and trash cans. The set-up people should begin at 8:30 a.m. Jeanne will call City Hall and ask them to provide two large trash cans. Porta Potties have been ordered. The Dillon Junior Fiddlers will be here. Nancy will provide an article to the newspapers announcing this. She will write two articles and place an ad in the paper and the rodeo bulletin. Jan and Bonnie will work the money table. Many offered to serve and work in other capacities.
NEW BUSINESS: Nancy and Hugh met with Patsy Krause in Glascow recently. They brought pictures of the memorial wall in the hospital there and encouraged our group to upgrade the wall at BHC.
Kyle Hopstad thanked our group for our hard work and dedication to the hospital. He appreciates our efforts. The Board will be presenting a mill levy request for $200,000 to the voters in November. All electrical and mechanical systems are beyond their useful life and need to be replaced. He also asked us to let him know if we hear of an issue or a problem at the hospital or clinic. It is very helpful to know of glitches in the system so that they can be corrected.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
