July 9, 2019

The BHC Auxiliary meeting was called to order by Donna Harper in the hospital conference room at 6:00 p.m. There were 13 in attendance. The minutes were read and approved. The treasurer reported that there was no change, and the balance remains at $5,488.94.

RODEO BBQ: Nancy will have 20 tablecloths. Commercial Bar will donate to-go-boxes. Donna will pick them up. Jan will get onions from Bob's for the beans.Nancy will make iced tea and lemonade. Jan will bring some garbage can liners; Nancy will bring three garbage cans. The City will provide three large canisters. Nanch will bring extension cords and 3-pronged outlet. She will put an article in the paper and one ad. Brush and Broom is donating paper plates, napkins, etc. Wheat Montana is donating buns.

NEW BUSINESS: Kyle Hopstad reported that we have another physician coming to the Clinic in a few weeks. Dr. Jamie Armstrong will be in the Clinic three days a week and Lisa Zimmerman, P.A., will be there 2-3 days per week. There are three entities that are very interested in taking over the hospital. They are all non-profits interested in rural health care. (St. Pete's, Sanford, and Billings Clinic) It is important that our group stay together working for the hospital.

Leota stated that the nurses love the E Care and they have used the laryngoscope that we purchased twice already.

Jenny asked if we are still interested in getting sponsors to donate money to our group. All thought it was a good idea. She said that she and Shienne would put together a list of what the auxiliary has done in the past few years and send it along with a letter to past donors asking them for their continued support. Nancy Marks stated that a few personal contacts might yield more benefits than a letter.

Jenny noted that Shakespeare in the Park is August 13 at 7:00 p.m. And the Christmas Stroll is slated for Thursday, December 5 from 4-7:30 p.m.

The next meeting was set for August 13th at 6:00 p.m. Meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Jeanne Randolph, Secretary
