In 2012, the hospital’s Board of Directors was searching for someone with the expertise and experience to help resurrect the closed nursing home and the nearly closed BHC hospital and clinic. They selected me due to my past turnaround experience to start October 31st 2012.

Townsend, Mont.—The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust has awarded Broadwater Health Center a $400,000 grant to purchase a 64-slice computer tomography (CT) scanner. Since 2015, the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Rural Healthcare Program has awarded over $30 million to outfit 79 of the region’s hospitals with state-of-the-art CT scanners to help them provide the best care to patients close to home.

BHC dietary department provides nutritious, attractive, and palatable food to patients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining high standards of sanitation, production, and service to all customers. Eight employees, including a manager and one Registered Dietitian serve an average of 25,000 meals a year to patients and cater an additional 325 special functions and meetings. The Registered Dietitian not only ensures that nutritional needs are being met, but also that patients receive proper nutrition counseling if necessary.
